Our Health segment’s Research and Development Manager, Diego Rockenbach, and our Quality Control Coordinator, Leonardo Valderrama, represented Adeste at the 31st Symposium on Glycosaminoglycans, one of the world’s most important forums related to Heparins, promoted by the Ronzoni Institute in Milan.
The event consisted of three days of intense knowledge exchange and the strengthening of scientific connections, positioning Adeste within an environment of collaboration with the academic community. Following the symposium, a two-week technical immersion was conducted at the Institute, allowing for in-depth exploration of technical and analytical knowledge about Heparins.
During this immersion, Diego and Leonardo were invited to deliver a special presentation to the students and researchers at the Institute, where they shared their expertise in Heparin research and development. They also discussed our production process, market data, pursuit of continuous innovation, and quality analyses, which position us as a global reference in Heparin production.
In his presentation, Diego challenged students and researchers to think of ways to strengthen the connection between academia and industry, fostering progress that benefits both sectors. This partnership between Adeste and the Ronzoni Institute will be essential for developing new research and technologies.
